AL1500 for Wheels

The front mold casting machine, model AL 1500 for Wheels is designed for a special requirement requested by the Wheel Sector and responds efficiently to the needs of foundries that operate with medium/large size molds; molds for the production of wheels up to a maximum of 18 inches can be mounted, while offering maximum reliability and continuity of performance.
Designed with a fully open distance between the planes of 1500 mm and a front tilt capacity from 0° to 45°, the AL1500 guarantees safe and precise handling of the mold, even in intensive production cycles.

The structure is very robust and has two movable mold-supporting planes. Each plane is moved by a hydraulic cylinder positioned in the central part and 4 chromed columns of ample size with guide bronze bushings. All this ensures operational stability and flexibility during the opening and closing phases of the cycle. This configuration makes it ideal for plants that work molds in 2 or 4 pieces,

The AL 1500 is optimized, in particular, for the Wheels sector, where efficiency and reliability over time are fundamental. It can be equipped for interfacing with automated systems and it adapts perfectly to continuous production lines.

Attention to constructive simplicity and ease of adjustment reduces machine downtime and minimizes maintenance interventions.

The Upper Bridge, which features a Double disconnect, makes it very versatile, fast and complete in its class.

In the central part of the structure there is positioned the Lower Tray with a travel of 50 mm adjustable.

Available Options: automated part discharge systems and a mold casting robot, for a configuration that can be fully modular based on the customer's production specifications.
