AL1800 for Wheels

The horizontal casting machine, model AL 1800 for Wheels is born from a specific requirement requested by the Wheel Sector and responds efficiently to the needs of foundries operating with molds of large dimensions; molds can be mounted for the production of wheels up to a max of 22”, while offering maximum reliability and continuous performance.
Designed with a distance between the planes fully open at 1800 mm and a front tilt capacity from 0° to 45°, the AL1800 ensures safe and precise movement of the mold, even in intensive production cycles.

The structure is very robust and has two movable mold carrying planes. Each plane is moved by a hydraulic cylinder positioned in the central part and 4 oversized chromed columns with corresponding guiding bronze bushings. All this allows operational stability and flexibility during the opening and closing phases of the cycle. This configuration makes it ideal for plants that work with molds in 2 or 4 pieces,

The AL 1800 is optimized, in particular, for the Wheels sector, where efficiency and reliability over time are essential. It can be prepared for interfacing with automated systems and it adapts perfectly to continuous production lines.

Attention to constructive simplicity and ease of adjustment reduces machine downtime and minimizes maintenance interventions.

The Upper Bridge, which has Double separation, makes it very versatile, fast and complete in its own genre.

In the middle section of the structure there is the Lower Table with an adjustable stroke of 50 mm.

Available options: automated part ejection systems and a casting robot, for a fully modular configuration based on the customer's production specifications.
